How a loss of creativity is linked to your quality of life - Reflecting on Ken Robinson

While we patiently wait for the podcast to return, with some exciting developments for Youtube (sneak peak below), I wanted to recap some powerful thoughts from Ken Robinson on how a lack of creativity int he world is linked to our quality of life… and I would like us to reflect on how this is different from standards of living.

Sneak peak of a new and exciting format for Youtube… stay tuned.

1/ The State of Creativity

One of the main reasons that so many people think they are not creative is education. Picasso once said that all children are born artists: the problem is to remain an artist as we grow up.

2/ The State of Education

Education should develop the whole child and not just their academic abilities. It should engage their feelings, physical development, moral education and creativity.

3/ The State of The World

Standards of living are much higher than when I started out, but the quality of life is lower.

Ponder today… how are these three things interlinked?

See you soon.
